These mirrors look great and are very easy to install on your bike. The are basically an all plastic construction which, for the most part, seems pretty solid. The installation is done by using a perforated rubber strap that wraps around the handle bars and then locks into a post on the mirrors mounting bracket. The rubber strap holds the mirrors nicely in place and they seem to hold well in the position that you install them in. Where these mirrors start to fail a bit is in their other adjustments. The swivel adjustments of the mirror are quite loose and even tightening the bolt that holds them to the mounting bracket doesn’t correct this fit. The result of a loose fit is a mirror that goes out of alignment with every bump in the road that you hit. You end up spending a lot of time adjusting the mirrors and once you get them set, hitting one bump will make you have to adjust them again. I’ve tightened the hardware as much as I can and I fear I will end up cracking the mounting if I tighten the metal hardware any more. So for now I will have to come up with an alternate plan to hold friction on the mirror adjustments. Until that happens, I have a constant struggle to keep the mirrors in alignment.
